Google Fiber customer service — how not to do it

My consumer internet went out. For TWO DAYS.
OK, outages happen, what you do about it is what matters.

Google Fiber customer service experience —
First, Google was uninterested in fixing the problem, hence the TWO DAYs.
Next, Google was uninterested in fair compensation.
I asked for two months credit. According to Google Fiber support agent “math” they owe me $6.67. Wow, I had no idea they placed such high value on me as an ongoing customer (well, not for long).

Great example on how to lose business and generate negative social sentiment.

Worth repeating, outages happen, what you do about it is what really matters.
